The Safest Way To Transplant Kale

I’ve been getting a lot of questions on the safest way of transplanting a seedling so you don’t damage the roots or any other part of the plant.  In this video, L.A. and I show you how to safely transplant kale seedlings.  Kale is one of the heartiest plants that you can grow.  It is so strong that it can withstand colder climates and in the right conditions, grow all year around, even with a small amount of snow and frost.  I like to think that this heartiness has a direct correlation to the health that it can instill in people who consume kale.  I enjoy adding kale into my smoothies as long as I can blend it down good enough and I don’t have to chew on it, this plant is TOUGH!

We will also be documenting the growth of the kale.  It is such a simple plant to grow and so nutritious. If you have any questions please let us know in the comment section!

Quick update on the kale growth:

The little seedlings to the left are my Selke Biodynamic Cherry Tomatoes!

What are some of your favorite greens to blend?  Also what greens are you interested in growing this year?  Please let us know in the comment section!
